This patch uses the MIAP “speaker” gains as a controller for an 8 x 1 mixer.

For this example, the 8 sources to be mixed are sine waves (though it could be anything).

The virtual node in the center of the map provides a power-preserving mix of all frequencies.

Moving around clockwise within the inner circle of speaker nodes allows a fade between increasingly higher frequencies.

Movement between the inner and outer ring of speaker nodes provides various non-sequential 3-frequency mixes.

This patch also demonstrates how one can use map scripting/control messages to animate nodes in a map and dynamically change node channels. Look in [p change_the_map] to see how it’s done.
